WA employers are being urged to tackle physical inactivity, unhealthy eating and harmful alcohol consumption among workers as part of an $8 million campaign to cut down on sick days.
Healthier Workplace WA, a joint State and Federal government initiative to be launched today, will provide resources and support to companies to encourage healthier practices, such as bicycle share schemes, "standing desks" or flexible work hours to allow staff to exercise during lunch breaks.
