Who we are

Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) was established over 60 years ago and has more than 15 years' experience in delivering EAP and other workplace services. We are a leading provider of relationship support services for individuals, families, workplaces and communities, helping more than 20,000 clients a year.

Our work is underpinned by commitment to the values of professionalism, responsiveness, creativity, collaboration, and care for self, others and the environment. We are members of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association Australia.

RAV is a member of the national federation of Relationships Australia (RA). Each state and territory RA is an independent, registered not-for-profit secular organisation providing a wide range of services.  We aim to support all people in Australia to achieve positive and respectful relationships. Through funded and unfunded programs we provide counselling, mediation, relationship education and other support services to 140,000 clients from 173 service venues throughout Australia. State and territory head offices are located in all Australian capital cities with a national office in Canberra, and client centres service many regional locations. We have 40 national and 133 state-based EAP contracts.

Innovation and leadership

We contribute to policy and program development and research and innovation through our presence in key forums, conference presentations and government consultation processes. We regularly partner with universities and other research bodies in research and evaluation projects.
